It was hot. It was hard work. It was sometimes emotional. But it was 100% worth the outstanding effort by our Emma and Iain who completed Race Across Pendle in aid of Pendleside Hospice.

Why Pendleside Hospice?

Pendleside is Farnworth Rose's lead charity for 2026, and it's a cause that's close to many of our hearts.

The hospice exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers, delivering specialist palliative care that addresses physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

It currently costs £6.4 million a year to run. Only around 20% of that comes from funding. The rest relies entirely on charitable donations and the efforts of supporters like Emma, Anthony, and you.
