Nina Barlow — Solicitor
I'm a Solicitor in our Commercial Services Department and have been at Farnworth Rose since 2017.
My work covers a wide range of commercial property and business transactions: sales and acquisitions of commercial property, business sales and acquisitions, refinancing, new build commercial developments, and business leases. The variety is what I enjoy most about this area of law (no two days are the same, and I'd be a bit worried if they were).
Commercial transactions tend to move quickly and clients are often working to deadlines that aren't theirs to control. I focus on being responsive, plain-spoken about progress and risks, and proactive about flagging things before they become problems.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 after working across a variety of practice areas. I joined Farnworth Rose in 2017, initially in our Residential Conveyancing team before moving across to Commercial. Working in both areas has given me in-depth experience supporting individuals and businesses, which is useful in commercial work that often touches on personal property interests too.
I'm currently on maternity leave and will be back later in 2026.
Outside the office, I love walking the dog with my family and getting out to live music whenever I can. I also have a soft spot for autumn (the cosy jumpers, crisp walks, golden leaves and excuse to watch endless amounts of spooky movies make it my favourite time of year).
