Becs Tackley
In my current role as a Legal Assistant within the Family Law team, I support solicitors on a range of matters including financial remedy, divorce and child arrangements. I joined the team in February 2026 and have enjoyed learning from such experienced colleagues.
My responsibilities include drafting correspondence and legal documents, preparing court bundles, liaising with clients and third parties, and assisting with case progression to ensure matters are handled efficiently and with sensitivity. This work requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and discretion, particularly when dealing with emotionally complex situations.
Alongside my role, I am currently undertaking the Solicitor Qualifying Examinations (SQE), with the aim of qualifying as a Solicitor. I graduated from the University of Salford in 2024 and I hope to qualify as a Solicitor by the end of 2027. I plan to continue developing my career in family law, supporting clients through difficult periods in their lives.
I particularly enjoy learning from colleagues and gaining exposure to the wide variety of cases within the team.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, including going to the gym, hiking, playing tennis and skiing during the winter months. I have also recently rescued a dog, who keeps me busy when I’m not studying.
