Macey Shian - Legal Support Team
I'm a member of the Legal Support Team and joined Farnworth Rose in the summer of 2026. Once a client instructs the firm, we’re the people that clients first speak to and their point of contact until the file is handed over to their fee earner. I provide administrative support with new file opening and new client onboarding.
The most enjoyable parts of my role are making sure new clients feel comfortable with the process and are getting any queries answered. When you’re first starting with a new solicitor, there can sometimes be quite a few documents to sign and items to provide to your lawyer and I enjoy supporting clients through that process wherever they need it.
Also, I particularly enjoy working as part of a team that relies on and supports each other here in the office. This is probably something that plays to my keen interest in team sports, in particular I loved captaining my rugby team.
Away from the office, I love visiting a new city to sample new cuisines and a different culture. So far, Prague has been my favourite place but I’ve a long list of places to go to next.
