The team at our Salford office continues to grow. We're pleased to introduce two new faces who have recently joined us there: Ahsan Khan, Residential Conveyancing Solicitor and Becs Tackley, Legal Assistant in our Family Law team.

Ahsan Khan, Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Ahsan joins us with strong experience across the full range of residential property transactions.

Whether it's a freehold purchase, a leasehold flat, shared ownership or a new build, he's handled the lot. He takes a thorough and considered approach to every matter, with a particular focus on making sure clients understand what's happening at each stage and feel confident in the process.

Outside of work, Ahsan keeps active and values the time he spends with family and friends. It's a balance he says reflects how he works too.

"I bring the same focus and discipline to every matter I take on," he says. "Clients deserve that."

Becs Tackley, Legal Assistant Family Law

Becs joined the Family Law team in February 2026 and has quickly settled in. She supports the team across a range of matters including divorce, financial remedy and child arrangements, handling everything from drafting correspondence to preparing court bundles and liaising with clients directly. It's work that calls for care and discretion in equal measure, and Becs takes both seriously.

Alongside her role, she's studying for the Solicitor Qualifying Examinations (SQE) with the aim of qualifying by the end of 2027. She graduated from the University of Salford in 2024 and has a clear ambition to build her career in family law.

"The variety within the team is something I've really enjoyed," she says. "Every case is different, and learning from such experienced colleagues has been invaluable."

When she's not working or studying, Becs keeps busy at the gym, on hiking trails and on the tennis court. She's also recently taken in a rescue dog, who's apparently proving just as demanding as the SQE.
