Jon Batchelor

I am the Strategic Director at Farnworth Rose. My role is to ensure we have — and execute — an effective growth strategy that supports the firm’s ambitions while continuing to deliver the exceptional service our clients expect and deserve. It’s about building for the future without losing sight of what matters most: quality, integrity, and caring for clients.

I’ve worked at Board level in both the legal sector and other industries for the past 25 years. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993, I’ve handled a wide range of high-value and complex litigation matters, including HSE prosecutions. I also oversee our litigation department, ensuring we continue to deliver excellence across the board.

I’m a proud family man. I enjoy walking in the hills around our home with my wife and more importantly with Ted, our lovely (and occasionally muddy) cocker spaniel. I do love to cook- although with mixed results but I am improving! I’m an avid reader and I like to keep my mind sharp with a good puzzle —or maybe even several when rewarded with alcohol!
