Farnworth Rose are delighted to welcome experienced family law Solicitor Salma Ahmad to the firm. Salma qualified as a Solicitor in 2014 and has since advised clients on family law and private client matters. She now specialises solely on family law and has a keen interest in matters relating to the Children Act 1989 and financial remedy.
She has extensive experience enabling her to help and support clients to resolve all family law matters including divorce and civil partnership dissolution, financial agreements, children and pre-nuptial agreements.

Family law has seen some unprecedented changes in recent times, particularly with ‘no fault divorce’ which came into effect in April 2022 however it remains crucial for clients to take specialist legal advice particularly in relation to financial matters and children.”
Salma added:

Recent research showed that 63% of first time buyers are cohabiting, yet very few protect themselves with a co-habitation agreement which can lead to lengthy disputes further down the line.”
