National Conveyancing Week took place last week and we were thrilled to be supporting NCW. From Monday to Friday, we got involved with online webinars, coffee collaborations, providing top tips and more, bringing our expertise into the mix.
So, how exactly did we get involved in National Conveyancing Week?
Throughout the week, National Conveyancing Week held multiple online webinars and discussions, which we joined and got stuck into. Our team offered some crucial insights into conveyancing and how local estate agents and Solicitors need to have a successful partnership for clients to receive the best possible service as well as efficient transactions.
On Tuesday, our Conveyancing team joined an online webinar about mental health and wellbeing in the property sector. Conveyancing Foundation Chairman, Lloyd Davies, discussed the results of the latest Wellbeing at Work survey with Jenny Bland, Sue Bence and Elan Rimmer. Inspired by this, we brought kindness to the forefront with our very own ‘Kindness Board’ in our main office! Who wouldn’t want a sprinkle of positivity with their morning coffee?

On Wednesday morning, our team enjoyed lots of coffee, some delicious homemade cheesecakes and a collaborative session with Natalie Croasdale and Francesca Lee from Just Mortgages! In the session, we provided an insight into the conveyancing journey and processes, which helps our referrers to understand the challenges involved and issues that need careful consideration by conveyancers from start to finish of the process of buying, selling and remortgaging homes. By collaborating with other stakeholders in the client process, we’re better equipped to manage client expectations throughout their journey, this ensures our clients receive an outstanding service!
During National Conveyancing Week, it was also the British Conveyancing Awards 2024! Although we didn’t take part this year, it was a great time to reflect on our amazing achievements in previous years. We were highly commended as Conveyancing Firm of the Year - North at the MLCA23 and our Head of Department, Emma Moore, was crowned the winner of Conveyancer of the Year at the BCA21!
