The 2017 'Serious Hackers Invitational Trophy' raises over £1,000 for charity
£1,057 has been raised for the Pendleside Hospice from a charity golf day, which was organised by the team here at Farnworth Rose solicitors.We are delighted to reveal that this years 'Serious Hackers Invitational Trophy' which was again hosted at the Nelson Golf Club, has been a huge success!This year four businesses took part in the tournament, with members from Petty Estate Agents, Faristone Group Ltd, Mortgage 65 and of course Farnworth Rose Limited all participating.The first players teed off at around 1 pm, and then the 2017 'Serious Hackers Invitational Trophy' was then well underway.6 hours of golf later it was confirmed that Farnworth Rose's three-year reign was brought to a halt, as Fairstone Group Ltd were declared champions of this year's tournament, a big congratulations to them!However, the day didn't stop there, as all players, along with colleagues and clients, entered the clubhouse to take part in a charity auction hosted by Mortgage 65's Rob Wyke.Items which were generously donated by Burnley FC in the Community, Sub70 Golf and former Burnley FC star Joey Barton were auctioned with all proceeds raised going to our local chosen charity, the Pendleside Hospice.

Farnworth Rose reach the halfway point
